Double Winged Liner

Get this look! What you will need: Eye liner pencil (any shade) Eye shadow (if you are using it) Mascara First start off with applying your eye shadow, if you want to add a base color. Any color of your choice will do. Apply the first ‘wing’ of liner, in the color of your choice, and create a cat eye (start off narrow at the inner part of the eye and gradually thicken as you get towards the outer corner of the eye. Make a slight upward curve after you reach the outer corner). Next apply the second ‘wing’ by starting at the middle point of the eye-lid, right above the colored part of your eyeball.   Create another cat eye swoop directly on top of the first ‘wing’ and gradually bring it higher than the first ‘wing’ creating some space between the two swoops. Lastly apply mascara, if desired, to finish off the Double Winged Liner look!

Shell Jewels

Shell Jewelry and accessories are becoming a definite must have for 2012! They go hand in hand with the nautical and oceanic wear and add a little flare to the 2012 fashion trend! You can even make you’re your own shell accessories if you want to get creative!

Crazy for Crochet

Crochet is bigger than ever this year! Going along with the bohemian style and the free spirit vibes, crochet is a fab way to stay cool during the warmer months of the year! Crochet is seen in ponchos, tops, accessories, skirts, and dresses!

Tip of the Week- Makeup

If using liquid makeup, a powder is the perfect setter to keep your makeup lasting all day! It also helps prevent shine throughout the day. Bronzer and blush are the perfect contouring tools. By stroking the brush throughout the T zones (forehead and nose) and contouring your cheekbones and jaw lines, it helps to highlight and accentuate the face. * Bronzer is best for warm skin tones with yellow undertones. Blush is best for cool skin tones with pink undertones.

How to wear belts

Wide stretchy belts are meant to be worn on the waist. Chain belts are meant to be worn on the upper part of the hips. Belts that are thin and adjustable can be worn through belt loops, on the hips and even on the waist.

Just Jenn’s Best Dressed- Grammys 2012

Carrie Underwood does the Grammys right! Looking stunning in a one shoulder fish tail gown covered in gold sequins and embellishments, along with black and gold bangles to match, stole the show during her duet with Tony Bennet! She swept her hair over to the side, cascading with her blonde curls and kept her makeup fresh with smokey eyes and beautiful fun lashes. She was styled just right and was definitely dressed to impress!

Peplum

2012’s IT silhouette- Peplum, is making a scene from celebrities and all over the runways. Peplum, which is known as the skirt like attachment found on jackets, dresses and shirts, are going to be a big hit this year for women! It’s dressy, edgy, fun, and flirty!

Tip of the Week- How to Wear Jackets and Cardigans

Long cardigans and jackets are best for taller men and women. Shorter bodies would get lost in the extra length of fabric. Short and cropped jackets and cardigans are best to elongate the figure. It gives the allusion of a longer torso and legs. Boxy jackets are best if you have boy shape (straight up and down) and no curves. The extra fabric makes you look as if you have something extra underneath. A fitted jacket with princess lines and/or darts is perfect for a curvier body. It hugs your curves and gives the allusion of a pear shape. Avoid anything too tight or loose in the arms!
