It’s sad to say, but a common misconception of me is that some people, who don’t know my lifestyle, tell me “You’re so lucky you’re skinny!” Or “You’re so lucky you can eat whatever you want!” Let me just say first off, I hate the word skinny, as well as the word fat. And my response is always the same, “It takes hard work, dedication, eating healthy and working out. And trust me, I’m not skinny, I’m FIT and FABULOUS!” Yes, I do have an athletic frame with lean muscle, but I maintain it. I eat small portions every couple of hours. I eat very healthy, but I do indulge when I want to. I don’t punish myself, because I take good care of myself. I don’t normally eat a lot of sugar and I refuse to add sugar in anything (I guess you can say I am lucky to not have much of a sweet tooth).
