What is Reiki?


"Reiki is 
a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being." Reiki is most commonly known as a holistic healing method called, energy healing. Other names for Reiki are: Chi, Qi, Prana, and Life Force Energy, which is natural energy that flows in each of us and all around us. Benefits of Reiki include: 

• helps in calming and relaxing the body and mind 
• assists in breaking away from past traumas, fears, doubts, and negative self-talk 
• promotes peace, harmony, and balance
• cleanses the body from toxins and helps to support the immune system 
• aids in pain relief and pain management 
• helps promote deep relaxation and eliminate symptoms from insomnia 
• it helps to align your chakras and allows you to feel more grounded
• reduce symptoms from headaches, muscle cramps, and body aches
• aids in elevating your overall mood


I am a certified Reiki practitioner specializing in relaxation, releasing negative energy, improving mental health and well-being, and healing from past trauma. Below is a picture from one of my in-person Reiki sessions.
