Fishtail Braids

Tired of regular ‘ol braids? Fishtail braids is the new hairstyle trend for this upcoming Fall and Winter 2011, that are all the rage! It gives off a more polished and put together look that is fun and easy to do!
Here’s how you do it:
First, start off with a ponytail in the middle of the back of your head

Separate the ponytail into two separate parts
Hold the two strands in your left hand
Take a thin piece from the outside of the right strand and join it with the left strand
Put your hair into your right hand now and with your left hand take a thin piece from the outside of the strand and join it with the right strand (the same thing you did before, but now with the opposite side)
Keep repeating until you get your desired look
Finish off with a rubber band and/or hair tie
