What are Essential Oils?

What are the uses for Essential Oils?
- Stress reliever
- Boost/enhance mood
- Relieve pain from headaches and migraines
- Get a better night's sleep
- Relieve nausea
- Repel insects
- Antiseptic properties
- Pain reliever from injuries and achy muscles
How to use essential oils
- Topically (please use a carrier oil if you have sensitive skin) The best way to see if it is safe for your skin is to go by the recommendation on the label and/or do a patch test.
- In a diffuser for aromatherapy
- Mixed in your food (again please read the label to see if you are safe to ingest it)
- Add a few drops to your bath or body wash (best to mix with a complimenting scent)
- Add a few drops to your lotion or moisturizer *I mix tea tree oil in my face lotion (tea tree is also known as melaleuca oil and is an antibacterial, great for the skin)
- Make a bedroom or body spray by mixing: witch hazel, water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil

I love how clean, uplifting and invigorating it is! I love to use it when I'm straightening up the house for a fresh, clean aroma, as well as when I'm tired in the morning and need an instant pick me up!
