Samhain, or more commonly known as Halloween, is a Harvest festival celebrating the end of a harvest season, and the beginning of winter. It is primarily used to honor our ancestors since the veil between the spirit world and our world is at its thinnest, at this time. People even try to make contact with their ancestors using divination or you may receive messages through your dreams, song lyrics, repeating numbers or a phrase that someone says. This is also the time of rebirth, transformation, and spiritual growth.
