What is Divination?

 



Divination is the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or gaining clarity by interpreting signs, symbols, or supernatural guidance. It has been used in various cultures for millennia and often involves rituals or tools to connect with spiritual realms, inner guidance, or unseen forces.

Types of Divination

Tarot Cards: Tarot involves using a deck of 78 cards, each with symbolic imagery, to gain insights into a situation or person’s life. Tarot is used for personal guidance, understanding emotions, or predicting potential outcomes.
Astrology: Astrology studies the movements and positions of the planets and stars to interpret their influence on our lives. Ex:Natal charts are drawn based on one's birth time and place to guide personal development and timing.
Runes: Runes are symbols from an ancient alphabet used for divination. Casting runes involves tossing carved stones or tiles and interpreting the symbols that land face up.
Pendulum Dowsing: Dowsing with a pendulum involves asking yes/no questions and interpreting the pendulum’s swings to gain answers or guidance.
Numerology: Numerology involves analyzing numbers related to a person’s name or birth date to understand their personality, life path, or future events.
Palmistry: Palmistry reads the lines, shapes, and patterns of a person’s hands to predict their personality traits and future events.
Scrying: Scrying involves gazing into reflective surfaces such as crystal balls, water, or mirrors to receive visions or symbolic images.
Tea Leaf Reading: This involves interpreting the shapes and patterns left by tea leaves in a cup to foresee events or gain insights.
Dream Interpretation: Dreams are interpreted symbolically to offer insights into the subconscious or spiritual messages about one's life.
Cleromancy: The practice of casting objects like bones, dice, charms or sticks to interpret patterns and divine meaning.
