Hot Pants


The Lady Gaga and Katy Perry inspired undergarment (previously known as hot pants) is currently being worn more "loosely" out at events, parties, and even on the red carpets! Following the bold move trend are: Rihanna, Taylor Momson, Amanda Seyfried, and Anne Hathaway. To achieve this look, boy short underwear will NOT do! If you dont want your hot pants to look like they are made for the bedroom then stick to these rules!



The higher waisted the better! Also if it comes a couple inches past your butt, than thats a plus!
Hot pants look fab with a lightweight top tucked in and a blazer/jacket over it. It gives a more "polished" look.
Tying a button down shirt in a knot were the top of the pants hit, is also a cute way to pull the look off.
By simply tucking in a slouchy, oversized t shirt into your hotpants gives it a cute, edgy look.
Not as bold? Try lightweight tights underneath or try a  skirt or wrap to go over the hotpants, like anne Hathaway!
