November birthstones Topaz and Citrine



November is another month that is lucky to have two birthstones:Topaz and Citrine.

Citrine has been known to be a protection stone against negative energy and evil thoughts. It is a stone that is utilized for strength, hope and happiness. It is great for generating energy and recharging, as well as balancing emotions. Citrine only comes in a yellow/orange color and is part of the Quartz family. Citrine has been used as decoration dating all the way back to ancient Greece in 300 BC.

Topaz symbolizes friendship and helps to stabilize emotions. The stone is great for love, prosperity, abundance and good fortune. Blue topaz is great for the throat Chakra which helps facilitate clear and precise communication. It also helps with balance of the mental, physical and spiritual body. Although topaz ranges in a variety of colors, it was most commonly seen as a bright yellow stone dating back in ancient Egypt. It was seen as a representation of the Sun god, Ra.
