8 Great ways to stay grounded and relieve stress

1. Earthing is a great way to ground yourself, by walking outside in the dirt, grass or sand, barefoot. The electrons create a flow of energy from the earth and travel through the body from the soles of the feet. Earthing has also been known to reduce pain in the body and help with insomnia.
2. Aromatherapy/essential oils, incense and candles helps to calm the mind and release endorphins which help the body and mind feel uplifted and happy.  Shop here!
3. Meditation is great way to quite the mind, body and soul.
4. Listening to natural healing sounds and soulful music such as rain or waterfalls, drumming, singing bowls and wind chimes, will help raise your vibrations and cleanse out negative vibes.
5. Get out in nature! Going out on hikes or trails, beaches or parks, are all great ways to relax. Also the Vitamin D from the natural sunshine will help elevate your mood.
6. Give gratitude daily! The more gratitude you give, the more things you will get in return to be grateful for. Gratitude raises your energy vibration and allows you to attract more.
7. Doing something creative such as, writing, drawing, painting, singing or dancing are great ways to move stagnant energy and get your mind and body flowing.
8. Feeling negative emotions? Write it out! By writing out all of your negative thoughts and feelings to get it all out of your head, is a great way to release stress, anger, anxiety, depression, etc. Write a letter to whom you're upset with, or a letter to the universe, to get out your emotions- but don't reread it, just write! Let it pour out. After you're finished, either burn it in a safe area or rip it up as many times as you can. Using Sage or Palo Santo afterwards will help eliminate the negative energy. Make sure to light a candle or incense afterwards to fill the room back up with positive and restoring energy.

Managing Stress through the Holidays

The holiday season is a time of joy, connection, and celebration, but it can also bring stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion. As a Reiki Energy Healer, I know how crucial it is to stay energetically balanced, especially during this busy time of year.  Here are a few tips to help you navigate the holidays with ease and grace: . Meditation + Awareness : Spend a few minutes each morning or evening doing a body scan. Where are you holding tension? Where can you release? How are you feeling? How can you honor that feeling? After acknowledging where you are right now, allow yourself to sit in stillness for a few moments. This simple act can help release tension, calm your nervous system, and align your energy. Visualize a protective bubble of light around you to maintain your energetic peace, allowing you to engage with others without absorbing stress or negativity. Pause and Breathe : Whenever t...

Tap Into Cancer Energy

What is Cancer Season? As the Sun moves into the water sign of Cancer, we’re invited to slow down, soften, and return to the sanctuary of our hearts. Cancer season (June 21 – July 22) marks the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere—a time of warmth, nourishment, and emotional renewal. Governed by the Moon, Cancer energy brings us home to ourselves, urging us to tend to our emotional bodies, deepen our intuition, and create safe, sacred spaces—both within and around us. As a Reiki energy healer, I see Cancer season as a powerful opportunity to reconnect with self-love, compassion and activate the healing energy of the heart. If you’ve been feeling overextended or disconnected, this season is your invitation to come back to center and hold yourself with the tenderness you so often offer others.
