Frequently Asked Questions

What is Reiki?

What are some sensations that I will feel during Reiki?
  • Tingling
  • Warmth
  • Sleeping/relaxed
  • Crying/releasing
  • Ears popping
  • Stomach rumbling
What are a few tips to help with new (or even experienced) meditators?
  • Focus on your breath- in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, release for 4 seconds, empty for 4 seconds
  • If you feel your thoughts start to get overwhelming just go back to your intention/mantra (for example if you want to manifest balance, repeat "balance" in your mind while focussing on your breath), or try saying "In" while you breathe in, and "Out" while you breathe out
  • Allow your mind to wander to a wonderful fairyland. Envision your self singing and dancing or even sitting in a field smelling the roses. Think happy thoughts. You don't need to think about NOTHING, just don't think about everything (like what you have to do after work or what to eat for lunch, etc). This is your minds time to relax!
What are your tips to help with manifesting?
  • Envision that you already have it
  • Put emotion behind it! Think of something that makes you extremely happy. Now add that feeling to your goals (make more money, dream job, dream car, etc) Think about how you will feel if you already had it
  • Write it down or create a vision board
  • Don't over analyze it. Let it go and let it flow to you
  • It's good to try and manifest a few small goals while you are manifesting a larger goal. (For Example: say you are trying to manifest a new car, instead of constantly only thinking about the car, try to manifest an extra $100 within the next 24 hrs) It helps to put your attention to other things and will help you from over obsessing about one thing. We all know how obsessive thoughts can lead us down a negative rabbit hole. I've been there!
  • Don't tell your goals to everyone. Outside energy may throw off what you are trying to manifest. Pick and choose who you share your vision and energy with
  • Be grateful for what you already have, right now
  • Find the positive in every situation and remember everything happens for a reason, even if we do not see what that reason is in that moment. If you miss out on an opportunity that you were excited about, something even better will come along
  • Have trust, faith and hope that everything will work out when it's supposed to

As a holistic practitioner, I understand the importance of wellness in maintaining a healthy and balanced life. Wellness is not only about physical health, but also about mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being. It encompasses all aspects of our lives and is essential for achieving optimal health and happiness. Physical wellness is the most commonly recognized aspect of wellness, as it relates to the health of our bodies. This includes regular exercise, maintaining a healthy diet, and getting enough sleep. By prioritizing physical wellness, we can improve our overall health, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and increase our energy levels and productivity. However, mental and emotional wellness are equally important. Our mental and emotional health affects how we think, feel, and behave. It is important to take care of our mental and emotional well-being by managing stress, practicing mindfulness, and seeking support when needed. By prioritizing mental and emotional wel
